WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that will allow users to access multiple WhatsApp accounts from a single device. The multi-account feature was discovered by WhatsApp feature tracker WABetaInfo, which found it in the WhatsApp Business beta for Android 2.23.13.5 upgrade on the Google Play Store. The feature is expected to be compatible with the WhatsApp Messenger application as well. Although it is still in the development phase, it is anticipated to be rolled out to the public later this year.
The upcoming feature will introduce a menu within the app that allows users to choose which WhatsApp account they want to log in to. Once a new account is created, it will be saved on the device until the user logs out. Additional accounts can be added, similar to the functionality offered by Instagram.
