Call For Application: 2021 Nigerian Drone Business Competition

Global Air Drone Academy (GADA), an FAA licensed drone services company based in the USA, seeks to train 30 young entrepreneurs on the expertise for safely operating and flying a drone, as well as how to relate the emerging drone technology to real-world practical solutions.

GADA, in collaboration with The United States Consulate General office in Lagos, is organizing a 5-Day boot camp with the aim of nurturing creativity and entrepreneurial skills among Nigeria-based early-stage youth technology entrepreneurs.

During the 5-Day Virtual boot camp, 30 qualified participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced drone professionals at the Global Air Drone Academy.

Participants will also learn the practical skills required to operate drone technology in industries like mining, film, medicine, engineering, etc.

At the end of Day 5, each individual will have an opportunity to pitch their business plan to a panel of judges, who will then pick a 1st , 2nd, and 3rd place winner.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must be between 16 and 30 years old
  • Must be citizen and resident of Nigeria
  • If selected as a finalist, must be able to participate in a 5-DAY Virtual Training (2Hrs per Day)
  • If selected as a winner, must be willing to participate in GADA’s business accelerator program

The competition is open to all Nigerian citizens/residents aged 16-30, and will hold from January 25th – 29th, 2021.

Application is open till 11:59pm on December 31st, 2020.
