Facebook AI Hackathon

1 Mins read

Facebook’s third Online Hackathon is now open for registrations and submissions! We’re inviting you to grow communities and drive social impact across Messenger, Spark AR Creators, and Wit.ai, for the chance to win up to $21,000 in cash prizes and Oculus VR headsets! We’ll also be continuing our free swag giveaway for every member of eligible submitting teams, sent directly to your home.

Facebook is passionate about bringing the world closer together by advancing artificial intelligence – connecting people to what they care about, powering new, meaningful experiences, and advancing the state-of-the-art through open research and accessible tooling.

They believe that when innovators come together with passion and purpose, amazing things can happen. Building on the momentum of the first two hackathons in our series, we’re excited to welcome global developers and creators to continue learning, building, and growing in our latest online challenge.

Leveraging the power of messaging, augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI), Fcebook is inviting developers to create solutions that help build community and drive social impact.

Whether idea that will bring to life a natural language chatbot solution using Wit.ai, a gamified experience using Spark AR, or an innovative way to connect friends and family using Messenger, we’re excited to support you as you innovate for impact.

Facebook is offering up to US$21,000 in cash prizes and Oculus VR headsets for winners, with every eligible submitter also receiving a free swag giveaway.
