Handraise Raises $6.4M In Seed Funding

1 Mins read

Founded in 2023 by CEO Matt Allison, Handraise is an Austin-based AI company that specializes in providing an AI-driven platform designed for PR and communications professionals. The platform aims to foster business impact through insights and amplification, utilizing large language models (LLMs) to deliver valuable insights without the need for extensive manual effort.

The company recently announced that it has successfully raised $6.4 million in seed funding to further develop its platform aimed at helping brands maximize the impact of their press coverage.

Silverton Partners led the funding round, joined by additional support from Floodgate, Bill Wood Ventures, Firebrand VC, Aperiam Ventures, Active Capital, Sputnik ATX VC, Capital Factory, and several angel investors. The newly acquired funds will be directed towards the continued development of Handraise’s platform.

One of Handraise’s flagship products, NewsAmp, empowers users to publish assets derived from press coverage to specific and targeted audiences. What sets it apart is its ability to simplify audience building in digital marketing, eliminating the complexity traditionally associated with this process.

Matt Allison brings a wealth of experience to Handraise, having previously founded and developed TrendKite into the world’s leading media monitoring and analytics platform. This notable achievement culminated in TrendKite’s acquisition by Cision in 2019, a deal valued at $225 million.

In conclusion, with the support of $6.4 million in seed funding and the backing of prominent investors, Handraise is poised to advance its AI platform further. The company’s commitment to streamlining PR and communication efforts aligns with the evolving needs of brands seeking effective and efficient ways to leverage their press coverage for maximum impact. As Handraise continues its journey, the funding injection will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement and expansion of its platform, further solidifying its position as a key player in the AI-driven public relations landscape.
