The Microsoft ADC Highschool Internship Program (HIP) is an internship program for secondary school students who are interested in learning more about software development and engineering. The program is designed to give students hands-on experience working on real-world projects with Microsoft engineers.
The HIP program is an initiative of the Microsoft Africa Development Center (ADC), and it is open to students who are currently enrolled in high school and who are interested in pursuing a career in software development or engineering.
Students in the HIP program will work on real-world projects with Microsoft engineers. They will also have the opportunity to attend technical training sessions and to participate in networking events.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the program, the following conditions must be fulfilled:
- Applicants must be between the ages of 12 and 20 at the time of application submission.
- Students applying must demonstrate a genuine passion for technology and problem-solving. Applicants should showcase their enthusiasm for exploring innovative solutions using technology.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a recognized educational institution or must have recently completed high school (Grade 12) education.
- Applications must be able to comprehend and communicate in English.
