1 Mins read

Pitch AgriHack has opened applications for this year’s edition of the Pitch AgriHack competition.

The competition is targeted at providing cash grants to innovators that are working on increasing the use of technology, and creating jobs across Africa’s agricultural sector.

The competition, which is run by AGRF and Heifer International, is focused on accelerating entrepreneurial growth, as well as job creation in the agriculture sector by leveraging advanced technologies and youth participation in Africa’s food security agenda.

This year’s edition of the Pitch AgriHack competition marks the seventh year of the competition.

The competition would provide support for companies that are driving innovation in agriculture across three categories:

  1. Early-stage.
  2. Mature/growth-stage.
  3. Women-led startups.

The competition would be providing a total prizes of US$45,000.
