Kwara Build Tech Community is a premier global association community for tech enthusiasts and developers, who are passionate about building and developing the tech ecosystem in and the nation at large, believing in the unequalled power of events and human connections to educate youth about the power of technology towards ecosystem development and future foresight.

In 2018, Kwara Build hosted the first of it’s kind in the Northern part of Nigeria. As the cofounder Kenkarmah said: There’s energy in coming together, you achieve big dreams. In loving memories of October 1st 2018 in ilorin Kwara state, Kwara Build hosted above 1200 attendees against all odds which came its ways. All plans were rescheduled within a blink of an eye, which has now became a day to remember and is now awarding the awesome organizers globally with the theme: Maximizing Opportunities in the digital world.

Their goal is to develop the tech ecosystem in Nigeria and Africa by hosting one of the largest tech conference accross the globe. There were awesome attendees and speakers who contributed their knowledge to educate the attendees on how to maximize opportunities in the Tech ecosystem. Among the speakers was Chike Ukaegbu, the youngest presidential candidate in the 2019 election in Nigeria. He is the founder of Startup52 which is the first diversity focused tech based platform in New York city. Also was Deji Akomolafe, the staff solution architect at VMware who discussed virtualization and Cloud computing with a bit of codelab. The conference also held in 2019 brought together attendees where it has been declared that the conference will be held annually. Kwarabuild isn’t limited to a tech conference alone, it is a community of tech advocates, who are ready to impact their knowledge on ready to be techpreneurs and create solution  for them. Their features include Kwara Build Woman in Tech, Kwara Build VR community, Kwara Build Kid2Code etc.

In May 2020, Kwara Build unveiled its 2020 theme: Africa’s next Builder.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Kwara Build has decided to hold a virtual conference. The invent has been crafted with a lot of features involving digital creativity and awesomeness involving private and public stakeholders, developers, product designers and students. AI and cloud computing have been said to be an added advantage to all attendees which will also involve pitching, networking and great opportunities. The virtual conference is not to guide senior developers alone, but will also be of great advantage to novice developers truing to find out their pace in the tech ecosystem.
