HowNow, a London-based edtech company, has successfully closed its Series A funding round, securing a total of £7.5 million. This notable investment will enable the company to scale its skills-first learning platform, which utilizes AI to provide personalized learning experiences for businesses and teams
The funding round was led by Mercia Ventures and Pearson, with an initial investment of £4 million in February 2023. HowNow recently secured an additional £3.5 million from the same investors, along with Fuel Ventures.
Founded with the mission to upskill 10 million people by 2030, HowNow has made significant strides in the edtech industry. The company’s AI-powered learning and skills platform helps organizations create a smarter, more accessible way for teams to learn and share knowledge while improving productivity.
HowNow’s platform has gained traction among notable brands such as TomTom, MoneyBox, Bausch &; Lomb, UKTV, and Good Energy. The company has also partnered with Pearson to deliver the UK Government’s Learning and Skills Platform.
The £7.5 million investment will be used to drive product development and continued AI integration. HowNow’s total funding to date stands at over £10 million, a testament to the company’s growing presence in the edtech market.
