Chelvies Coffee Secures $1.5 Million In Funding To Expand Across Major Indian Metros

Founded in 2023 by Dhruv Singh, Chelvies Coffee, a growing brand that blends specialty coffee with an elevated dining experience. Chelvies Coffee positions itself as a premium coffee and dining brand, aimed at redefining the Indian coffeehouse experience. Currently, the company has six operational locations in Delhi NCR and Ahmedabad. Chelvies brand amongst other things is highly committed to quality, innovation, and delivering superior customer service.

Chelvies boasts an extensive menu of more than 70 specialty coffee options, paired with a carefully curated dining selection that includes burgers, artisanal sandwiches, and freshly prepared pasta. These offerings are produced using the company’s in-house facilities, supported by a proprietary supply chain system featuring centralized dispatch units and base kitchens. This infrastructure ensures efficient and scalable operations while maintaining a high-quality customer experience.

The company recently announced that it has raised $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round which was led by Endurance Capital. The company in the same vein is in the process of securing an additional $500,000 through debt financing.

The company stated that the newly acquired funds will be directed toward opening over 30 high-street outlets across key metropolitan cities in India by 2026. Additionally, Chelvies plans to strengthen its supply chain infrastructure, develop proprietary food production systems, and expand its operational teams to support its growth ambitions, the company announced in a press release.

India’s café industry is experiencing rapid growth, with market projections estimating a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15-20%, potentially reaching $2.6 to $3.2 billion by 2028.

Chelvies Coffee has already achieved notable milestones, reporting a monthly revenue run rate of INR 1.30 crore and profitability at the individual store level. The brand aims to reshape India’s coffee culture by introducing a European-inspired model that combines specialty coffee with an upscale dining experience.
