San Francisco-Based AI Platform Lumino Raises $2.8M In Pre-Seed Funding

Lumino, a startup based in San Francisco, California, specializing in open, efficient, accessible, and cheaper AI infrastructure powered by blockchain and crypto.

In a recent report, the company announced that it has successfully secured $2.8 million in Pre-Seed funding. The funding round saw participation from a notable group of investors, including Longhash Ventures, Inception Ventures, Protocol Labs, TRGC, L2IV, Zero Knowledge Ventures, Fenbushi Capital, Quaker Capital Investments, OrangeDAO, and Escape Velocity.
With this financial support, Lumino aims to bolster its operations and ramp up its development efforts.

The California-based AI infrastructure was established in July 2023 by Eshan Chordia and Yogesh Darji. Lumino is dedicated to creating an integrated hardware and software compute protocol tailored for AI workloads. Their innovative approach leverages economic incentives to pool compute resources, blockchain technology to ensure accurate model training, and a user-friendly SDK for seamless developer integration. Through the Lumino SDK, customers can initiate AI model training within minutes, streamlining the development process and empowering developers to harness the power of AI efficiently.
