This feature was spotted by WABetaInfo on WhatsApp Web Beta 2.2348.50. It involves the integration of a calendar icon for date-based message searches in the web client. Although it’s currently accessible to a select group of users on the latest beta version of WhatsApp Web, its wider availability might take some time. Unfortunately, Gadgets 360 was unable to verify the feature in the latest WhatsApp Web Beta client.

For users, this new “search by date” feature offers a convenient way to find messages by specifying the date they were sent or received. Clicking on the recently introduced calendar icon opens a calendar view, allowing users to pick a specific date. Once chosen, the feature will display messages exchanged on that particular day.
