RightHub Garners $15M In Seed Funding

RightHub, a collaborative Intellectual Property (IP) platform, has raised $15 million in a seed funding round led by London-based firstminute Capital and Switzerland-based Anker Capital, with participation from Conviction VC, law firms, and successful founders from various industries. The platform aims to reduce the burden of manual labor, cost, and risk involved in obtaining, managing, and enforcing IP while bringing transparency and cost certainty to customers. The investment will be used to develop the platform’s capabilities and scale up the go-to-market team across multiple geographies.

The current IP infrastructure does not bring justice to the innovation flowing through it, with significant portions of the IP budgets being wasted on irrelevant activities and reliance on outdated platforms and manual labor. RightHub’s platform connects creators and IP professionals worldwide, making the process of obtaining, managing, and enforcing IP more efficient, rewarding, and less time-consuming.

RightHub simplifies every aspect of the IP lifecycle, providing support along every step of the process, from evaluating innovations to filing, renewing, changing ownership, watching, monitoring, and enforcing everything IP. The platform is already being used by over 2,800 corporates and law firms, simplifying the IP lifecycle with only a few clicks.

RightHub was founded in 2021 by a team of IP veterans with over 20 years of experience in building and scaling software and services companies. The team’s complementary experiences ranging from R&D and patents to trademarks and online brand protection bring together the best of all worlds when building an IP platform to solve problems across all protection types and customer segments.

RightHub, headquartered in London, has a team of 75 people across its offices in the UK, US, Denmark, and Sweden. Half the team consists of IP experts, while the other half consists of industry-leading technologists focusing on software development and data.

Arek Wylegalski, Partner at firstminute Capital, comments that RightHub’s vision is incredibly exciting, and they have the track record to back it up. Jonas Anker, Managing Partner at Anker Capital, believes that RightHub ticks all their boxes as they invest in teams and ideas that have the intention and potential to transform an industry using technology as its core.
