The San Francisco-based company has recently raised $4.4 million in Seed funding to support its no-code Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) platform for modern brands, manufacturers, and wholesalers. The round was led by Mastry Ventures, with participation from Village Global, Alumni Ventures, SuperAngel VC, On Deck, Mensch Capital Partners, and Harizury.

The company said that the funds raised will be used to accelerate the company’s growth, expand its operations, and increase its business reach. Crstl’s SaaS application and platform offer no-code EDI workflow automation for modern brands, manufacturers, and wholesalers, allowing them to optimize revenue and streamline workflows, which frees up working capital for growth and innovation. The company is leveraging AI to build connectivity across retailers, distributors, and systems such as ERPs and WMS.

Crstl’s system provides transparency, enabling brands to quickly start transacting with their trading partners. The platform also provides compliance testing and certification, including generating compliant shipping labels and packing slips. The company has already facilitated millions of dollars of B2B commerce between brands and major retailers like Walmart, Target, Whole Foods, and CVS.
