The Federal Ministry of Youths and Sport in Nigeria has announced its 60daysAppChallenge for Nigerian youths. The aim of this challenge is to engage Nigerian Youths more during the lockdown.
It was stated in the tweet of the Ministry:
“In response to the on-going #COVID19 Pandemic and beyond, The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development @NigeriaFMYS in Partnership with the Public and Private Sector invite all Nigerian youth to participate in the #60DayAppChallenge aimed at engaging young Nigerians in the act of designing a mobile application to improve a range of processes and increase the ease of accessibility to services available to the citizenry.
The aim of a mobile app is to seamlessly connect and interact with persons making it a
valuable tool”
They also noted that the App submission should include solutions including Edu-Tech, Fin-Tech, Health, Sport and Telecommunications.
Grand Prices of about 1Million Naira each will be gifted to 10 winners after thorough check of their submissions and shortlisting.
