Google provides a secure way to manage your contact using the Google cloud server. When you use a device that runs on Android Operating system, you can set your device to save all new contacts to your Gmail account.
This would make it possible for you to access your phone directory from anywhere in the world.
What if you have more than one Google accounts and you want to have a copy of your contacts saved on your other Google account(s)? How do you go about it?
That is what this post is about.
In this post, I’m going to show you step-by-step, how you can export your contact from one Google account to another Google account, using both your Android device, and on Desktop.

Let us start with Desktop.
How to transfer contacts from one Google account to another, using Desktop.
You would be surprised to know that this is quite simple. Follow the step-by-step guide, and you would be done in no time.
Step 1
1. Go to contacts.google.com
2. Enter the login details of the account the contacts are on.
3. Click the three stripes on the top left corner of the screen, and select Export.
4. Select the contacts you want to export. If you want to export all contacts, select all contacts.
5. Select the format you want to export the contacts in – CSV or vCard.
6. Click Export.
All your contacts will be exported into one file. Be sure of where the file is downloaded. By default, it should be in the Downloads directory.
Now. You are done with this account.
Step 2
1. Log into the account you want to transfer the contacts to. Or go to contacts.google.com and enter your login details.
2. Click the three stripes on the top left corner of the screen. Select Import.
3. Click Select file, and locate the file you downloaded on the previous account.
4. Click Import. This will import all the accounts you have on the CSV file to the new Google account.
The process might take a few minutes, so, be patient.
How to transfer contacts from one Google account to another Google account on Android.
First of all, I should tell you that you can also do all the things you did on desktop on mobile. That being said, let us dig into mobile.
Step 1
1. Make sure the Google account you want to transfer the contacts from is logged in on the Android device.
2. Open the Contact app. Tap the three stripes, and select Settings.
3. Scroll down and tap Export.
4. Select the Google account you want to export the contacts from, and tap Export .vcf.
This will export your contacts to a .vcf file, and the file will be saved in your phone storage.
Step 2
1. Ensure the account you want to transfer the contacts to is logged into the android device.
(If the account is on another device, locate the .vcf file in your phone storage, and find a way to send the file to the device the Google account is on. You can send the file using Bluetooth, email, or any file transfer app of your choice.)
2. Open the Contacts app. Tap the three stripes, and select Settings.
3. Scroll down, and tap Import. When asked where to import contacts from, select .vcf file. Tap ok.
4. Select the Google account you want to import the contacts into.
5. You will be directed to the device storage media. Locate where the .vcf file saved in Step 1 is located (or the file you transferred using Bluetooth, Email, etc.), and select it.
6. Contact app will run the contacts and add them to the selected account.
Note: It is advisable you set Contacts to synchronize automatically on the Contact app, this will allow each new contacts to be added to your Google account directly, and available to be accessed from anywhere you choose.
