After years of speculation and mounting anticipation, Nintendo has finally confirmed the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, slated for release on June 5, 2025—the successor to one of the best-selling consoles of all time. The Switch 2 aims to redefine hybrid gaming with upgraded hardware, new flagship titles, and cutting-edge performance enhancements.
The original Nintendo Switch is here to make even the blurry line between home console and portable device. With more than 130 million units sold, its success was rooted in versatility, affordability, and a family-friendly game library. What’s new in Switch 2?
The Switch 2 brings significant upgrades across the board.
